The letter below
was sent to Joey and Jeanie by Fernandina Beach police Senior
Chaplain, Dr. Don McFadyen. THE STORY: We were asked to perform at
the first annual Fernandina Beach Freedom
Walk. The event, as mentioned in the
story on our Schedule
page, was epic. And as if it wasn't
fulfilling enough, a few days later we received the awesome
letter of appreciation below. One thing that makes this
letter all that more important is that its writer, Dr. Don
McFadyen, was volunteering on site at Ground Zero in New
York. Pretty incredible if you ask me! We have since received
word that there is a really short video clip of us performing
just before the keynote speaker, Janet Adkins, begins. Here is the video link.
There is a newer video post here: Freedom
Walk Video.
If you'd like to just jump to the spots where Joey&Jeanie
are playing, drag the video transport bar to the 3:00
minute and the 6:10 minute spots.

Text Of (above) Letter: Dear Jeanie and Joey,
Your performance at our city's 911 Memorial Services was
truly outstanding yesterday. An outdoor venue can be a test
for a duet anywhere, much less in a situation of marching
honor guards and fire trucks! Well done. We are so blessed
to have you involved in Patriotism your way. Thank you.
Don McFadyen, Senior Chaplain.
